The Annual Meeting of the Province has been held at York Racecourse since 1995. In 1996, the date was fixed as the 1st Saturday in May. Circumstances changed and we moved to the 2nd Saturday in March. It is a superb location and a favourite visit by other Mark Provinces who always remark on the wonderful occasion and the quality of the catering.
We are able to cater for approximately 500 seated in the meeting held in the Voltiguer Suite. The Ebor Suite (below right) can accommodate 350 for the Luncheon which traditionally offers a Starter of Yorkshire Pudding in a rich Onion Gravy, Chicken with Bacon Roll, Cornish Ice Cream with Butterscotch Sauce.
All Mark Master Masons are invited to attend the meeting and Luncheon. It is a Provincial meeting for everyone and gives an opportunity for new Mark Master Masons to meet other members of the Province and of course the executive officers. A summons is sent to all members of the Province in January each year.
Copies of the Summons and Dining Slip for 2018 will be found here when issued.
