Beverlac Keystone Mark Lodge no.281 held their carol service at All Saints Church in Hessle in December in aid of Martin House Hospice for terminally ill children.
Although the unit is based in Boston Spa it provides a service for children and parents throughout our Province and last year they were caring for 430 children, either in the hospice or at home.
The carol service was attended by the Provincial Grand Master and his lady Rose and was supported by the Vice Lord Lieutenant for the East Riding Mr. Stephen Larard MBE, JP
The North Ferriby Ladies Choir sang at the service of nine lessons and carols and the result was a very healthy £1468.00
Presenting the money to Becky Nicholson from Martin House are Peter Nesbitt and Bill Glanville who organized the service, accompanied by their wives who were heavily involved in the event.
This years’ service has already been booked for Sunday 15th December at 2.00pm so please put a note in your diaries.
